How it works

  THE EVENT

The event registration is open for up to 8 teams.  Each team consisting of 2 players.  To schedule this event will require a minimum of 4 teams registering.

FIRST ROUND, SCRAMBLE

After each golfer on a side plays a stroke, the teammates compare the results and select the best one. Both players then play the next stroke from that spot. This is repeated, including on the putting green, until the ball is holed. One team score is recorded.

Golfer A and Golfer B form our team in a 2-Man Scramble tournament. On the first tee, both golfers hit drives. They compare the results. Which ball is in the best position? Let's say Golfer B's drive is best. So, Golfer A picks up his ball and moves it to the location of Golfer B's. Mark this position and play their next shots within one club-length of the selected ball's position.

Both golfers then play their second strokes from that location. They compare the results of the second strokes and, again, select the ball in the best position. The other golfer moves his or her ball to that location.

Once on the green they can play from up to 6 inches from the mark but no closer to the hole.

This method of play continues until the golf ball is holed to record the team score. Handicaps will apply on total score.

SECOND ROUND, MODIFIED ALTERNATE SHOT

Off each tee each golfer on a side plays a stroke, the teammates compare the results and select the best one. There is no moving of the ball after the best drive is selected. Players alternate each shots until the ball is holed.

Handicaps will apply on total score.

FINAL ROUND, FOUR-BALL

Each player plays through every hole using their own ball. The player whose net score is the lowest on each hole will be the team score for that hole. Scorecards will be handed out prior to the round indicating which holes are handicap. The handicap will apply on each hole.
